Once that bar reaches a certain level, they will just give up and the quest will be over. You have to do well at the war part, so raid their villages constantly, fight them and take their lords prisoner, and destroy their caravans. Prisoners + raids + crippling their economy all count towards a war score. The execution penalty is dumb and unrealistic, try that in crusader kings and you get your faction obliterated like swatting a fly within first week, if not being killed by your own men for your insanity already. They only able to do that now due to massively dumb execution penalty, cheat on money and can hire troops out of thin air. get the first 2 quests done and you will get the 3. quest where you have to choose if you want to destroy the empire, or restore it. then you can choose if you want to do this under a factions banner (battania for example) or if you want to build your own kingdom. PhoenixOmen Apr 20, 2020 @ 1:28am. Just avoid the main history quest, focus on your character growth and his/her army and rise social "scores" with nobles and such. Once you create your own kingdom by means of main history line, war will become a fact: so avoid the quest till you are fully ready and capable. #9. If they fail, they are wiped from the game. or B) they slowly disappear from the game until the faction is no more, young members join other clans, old members appear in foreign courts talking about "how great their faction used to be". Give them a shot to be someone again or eliminate them all together.

In version 2.4, you also have the option to apply relation penalties to all kills beside executions. This option is off by default. If you want to enable it, use the following option in the config file: . If you set the value to 1, all kills get the same penalties as execution.

So I captured every fief of a faction. I never executed any lords, so they have now like 15+ clans and mercenary clans running around with tiny armies raiding my villages and besieging castles. Their leader just died of natural causes, but his son took over. So will they dissolve in time? Will their faction get booted from "Diplomacy" window and war ends? Or is only way to end it is to execute

Yes if they are not at war with anyone and you are the only one at war with them you will get all of their fiefs :D I was able to pull it of with Battania in my game. If wipe out all Khuzait clans in their faction and try aren't at war with anyone other than you you will get their fiefs! Cool i will try it with last city of western empire. tFbrAA2.
